SAA resumes flights to Douala after airport reopens

South African Airways (SAA) has resumed flights to Cameroon’s Douala International Airport, following the reopening of the airport on March 21.

SAA’s four-weekly flights from Johannesburg to Libreville, in Gabon, and onwards to Douala would operate as per the normal schedule to Douala after operations were rerouted during the Douala airport closure time to Yaoundé.

“We would like to apologise to our customers for any inconvenience caused during the closure of the Douala airport and would like to assure them that our operations are now back as per the previous Douala schedule,” said SAA spokesperson Tlali Tlali.
