RENAC Green Energy Summer School on renewable energy and energy efficiency is opening its doors again and expands activities in France

The Renewable Academy, based in Berlin (Germany), in cooperation with INES, the French National Institute for Solar Energy, Savoie Technolac (France), will conduct the Green Energy Summer School from the 18th August 2014 to the 05th September 2014 both in Germany and France.

With a focus on renewable energy and energy efficiency, the Green Energy Summer School blends three weeks of trainings with various site visits, lots of practical exercises plus international networking in Berlin, the German capital and one of the most exciting European cities, or on the shores of Lake Bourget near Lyon, France.

Participants have the choice to attend one, two or three weeks depending on their interests. The first week of introduction to renewable energy technology and the third week of introduction to energy efficiency suit the needs of professionals who want to enhance their career prospects by getting a comprehensive overview of green energy technologies. During the second week, participants study in depth grid-connected and off-grid photovoltaic technologies. While French-speaking participants can attend the Summer School in France, the classes in Berlin will be conducted in English language.
The trainings are open for representatives from the public-, private-, industry-, non-profit-, and academic sectors, financing institutions and industry associations worldwide. The Green Energy Summer School serves as platform to learn in an international team of professionals while perfecting renewable energy and energy efficiency know-how.

The combination of up to date theoretical lectures taught by highly qualified professionals with deep experience in the industry, state-of-the-art practical exercises and field excursions, accompanied by lots of leisure activities is geared to make learning not only effective but very exciting.
