Project Description
The project entails the construction of a 320-MW-capacity wind farm.

The wind farm will be able to generate about 1.3 TWh/y, enough energy to meet the equivalent yearly consumption needs of more than 105 000 US households, while avoiding the emission of about 940 000 t/y of carbon dioxide.

About 200 MW of the power and renewable-energy credits from Rattlesnake Creek will be sold to Facebook under a bundled, long-term power purchase agreement. The wind energy will supply 100% of the power needed to operate Facebook’s new data centre in Papillion, Nebraska.
