Indonesia hosts about 40% of the world’s geothermal reserves. It is estimated that the country has 29 000 MW of geothermal generation potential.

The power plant will be the second geothermal project in Indonesia that will use dual flash technology, improving the plant’s efficiency.

The project will provide employment for about 1 200 people and provide opportunities for local businesses during the construction period.
