TORONTO (miningweekly.com) – Potash project developer Prospect Global Resources on Monday said it had appointed Daniel Neumann and Reed Dickens to its board, to replace Marc Holtzman, ZZ Qiu and Conway Schatz who had resigned.

Neumann brings 16 years of finance experience, the majority of which was at financial services provider BlackRock, where he was the lead portfolio manager of a top-performing global energy and natural resources equity fund. Recently, he had joined several former BlackRock colleagues to help launch a new energy sector investment platform at GRT Capital Partners, in Boston.

Dickens, a former White House assistant press secretary, is the founder of Dickens Capital Group, a business platform specialising in acquiring, investing and advising consumer growth companies.

Dickens sits on several corporate boards and serves as a senior adviser to TPG’s portfolio of growth companies. He also travels the country as a corporate speaker and contributor on CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC.

Holtzman and Qiu would join the company’s international advisory board alongside Gray Davis and Devon Archer.
