Project Description
The project involves the development of an industrial terminal for Petronas’s PIC. The PIC comprises the refinery and petrochemicals integrated development complex and associated facilities, including the Pengerang cogeneration plant, the regasification Terminal 2, the air separation unit, the raw-water supply project and liquid bulk terminal, as well as centralised and shared utilities and facilities.

The industrial terminal, developed under the Pengerang Terminal Phase 2 project, will have a storage capacity of up to 2.1-million cubic meters for crude, refined products, petrochemical products and liquefied petroleum gas.

The terminal will also have a deep-water jetty facility in water depths of up to 24 m, capable of handling very large crude carriers.

Berths for unloading and reloading liquefied natural gas (LNG) vessels up to QMax-sized containers are also included in the plans.
