Parker’s innovative E-Z™ hose assembly tubing lines offer a new dimension in flexibility

Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, is presenting its two new form hoses: E-Z Form ™ GS and E-Z Form™ HT. The advanced hose design is especially application-oriented and provides an extremely versatile choice for customers.

As a cost-effective solution for OEMs and the spare parts market, the hoses provide an extremely flexible option with easy installation. Typical application areas are in construction, mining, forestry, land, lawn care and heavy machinery, conveyors, municipal and transport vehicles as well as industrial engines and power generation plants.

The E-Z Form hose has been designed to handle applications with extreme bends while allowing full-flow, kink-free performance. E-Z Form hose effectively replaces pre-formed hoses and hose/bent metal tube assemblies in many applications – therefore eliminating special design, tooling and fabrication costs and associated long lead times. It also eliminates the need to order prototypes and large minimum production quantities.

All E-Z Form hoses incorporate a helical wire for full suction/vacuum service.  In addition, by using one continuous length of hose, leak points and subsequent warranty issues are minimised. Parkers E-Z Form hoses are catalogue products and available from stock in multiple incremental sizes.

The E-Z Form GS is a lightweight, low-pressure hose that is particularly suitable for general refrigeration and water applications. The special design of E-Z Form HT high-temperature hoses makes them resistant to extreme heat (up to +150 degrees Celsius) and means they can easily be installed directly in the engine as a return line for power steering. The range also includes a third type which is the E-Z Form MP. This oil-resistant multi-purpose hose can be used for fuel filling or as an oil suction and oil return line.
