The project involves supplying the STIF and RATP with 12 new metro sets for Line 2 – Porte-Dauphine-Nation; Line 5 – Place d’Italie-Bobigny and Line 9 – Pont de Sèvres-Mairie de Montreuil of the Paris metro network.

The project is valued at about €75-million.

Duration
Deliveries of the metro sets will continue until 2016.

Latest Developments
Alstom, working as part of a consortium with Bombardier Transport and Areva TA, will supply the STIF and the RATP (the Paris-based operator) with 12 new MF01 metro sets for Line 2, 5 and 9 of the Paris metro network. The order covers the design studies, development and manufacturing of train sets.
