PERTH (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed Oil Search on Wednesday told shareholders that the Agogo production facility, in Papua New Guinea, has resumed operations following repair works necessitated by an earthquake in February.

With the restart of the Agogo facility, all of the Oil Search-operated facilities are now on line.

The company said that oil production has started at an initial rate of around 2 000 bbl/d of oil, and will be progressively ramped up through early 2019.

The ASX-listed company has maintained its 2018 production guidance at between 23-million and 26-million barrels of oil equivalent.
