JSE-listed fishing company Oceana has been granted a dispensation for the extension of interim CFO Ralph Buddle’s tenure until January 31, 2023.
Oceana suspended CFO Hajra Karrim on February 7 and appointed Buddle in an acting capacity from February 23.
Buddle will continue to serve as interim CFO and as an ex-officio executive director until the board identifies and appoints a permanent CFO.
Oceana reports that its board has started a comprehensive search and recruitment process, which it says is well under way.
