Key players in the global nuclear energy sector are expected to converge in Paris in October for the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE), bringing together experts involved in the decision-making process of global nuclear projects and representatives from various government organisations responsible for nuclear legislation and safety control.

Expected to attract over 6 000 visitors, the exhibition will feature some 400 international exhibitors and include technical and business-focused conference presentations, daily roundtable discussions and high-level international speakers, focusing on recent industry developments.

Visits to nearby industrial sites and research centres will also be arranged during the WNE, held from October 14 to 16.

“The exhibition is a top worldwide platform dedicated to the sharing and sourcing of information related to the nuclear energy industry. It will also provide an opportunity for companies of all sizes to display their know-how and skills in all areas of the nuclear energy industry,” said event organiser the Association of French Nuclear Industry Exporters (AIFEN).

According to the AIFEN, over 430 nuclear power plants were currently in operation worldwide, while a 50% increase in worldwide nuclear capacity was expected by 2025.
