Litchfield Minerals, a junior exploration company focused on critical minerals in the Northern Territory, made its debut on the ASX on Friday.
The listing followed a successful initial public offering raising A$5-million before costs.
The company’s initial focus is on copper and uranium exploration, with drill-ready assets about 350 km from Alice Springs. The Mount Doreen project is adjacent to Energy Metals’ Bigryli uranium deposit.
“With uranium spot prices currently at 16-year highs, coupled with the continued growth in demand for carbon-free energy, the listing is timely and presents a significant opportunity to create significant shareholder value through the systematic exploration of our projects,” said chairperson Peter Eaglen.
He added that the company planned to start drilling shortly.
