NOT SERIOUS

European Union chief negotiator Michel Barnier (right) accused the UK late last month of not “negotiating seriously” over its withdrawal from the bloc and called on the British government to remove ambiguity about its stance. Barnier said he wanted the UK to come clean on how much it was prepared to pay in terms of an exit bill. However, UK Brexit Secretary David Davis (left) refused to spell out what he thought the UK could be liable to pay.
