Norwegian-African Business Summit to focus on infrastructure development

The Norwegian African Business Association (NABA) will on October 30 host the fourth Norwegian-African Business Summit, aimed at addressing the main challenges and opportunities facing African infrastructure development.

The summit, to be held in Oslo, Norway, will welcome African and Norwegian leaders from across industries under the theme ‘Mapping the African Infrastructure Landscape’.

“Investment in infrastructure accounts for over half of the recent improvements in economic growth in Africa. We know it has the potential to achieve even more. That is why infrastructure is on the agenda,” NABA founder and MD Eivind Fjeldstad said in a release.

He added that the summit would build on strong existing African–Norwegian business ties and a commitment to continue to develop this relationship.

Included in the list of speakers was the President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama and Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Børge Brende.
