The contract involves the upgrade of the North West Coastal Highway between Mia-Mia and Barradale, in the Gascoyne and Pilbara regions of Western Australia.

The project covers about 102 km of road and includes the design and construction of two bridges, widenings, earthworks, pavements, drainage and associated road infrastructure.

The contract is valued at $69-million.

Duration
Design works started in January, with the contract expected to be completed by the end of 2016.
