Power utility Eskom on Wednesday said it would not need to implement load-shedding for the first part of Wednesday, as there was enough electricity generation capacity to meet demand.
“The power system is stable at present but is expected to be constrained during the evening peak period (17:00 to 21:00). Eskom will keep you updated on the state of the power system and advise the public accordingly should the need to load-shed in the evening arise,” it added.
