New software aids mine management

16th July 2019

New software has been developed to integrate data from a mining project onto one software platform. The integrated visualisation and analysis platform brings all sensor technology together to give a holistic view of a mining environment.

The platform combines total station, global navigation satellite system, radar and other monitoring sensor data from a mining project, into one view.

The HxGN GeoMonitoring Hub, from Hexagon’s geosystems division, integrates the IDS GeoRadar Guardian and Leica GeoMoS monitor systems. It aims to provide a comprehensive view of all information aggregated by different sensors, including third-party, without the need for manual importation or manipulation of data. The interface can also be customised to provide the best-suited information for individual projects that require monitoring operations.

The hub’s integrated and intuitive interface promises an increase in safety and efficiency by providing a single-entry point to see all available data in one holistic view. The single reporting system, dashboard and view of data is designed to support quicker and more informed decision-making.
