Project Description
The project involves the construction of a hydropower plant with an installed capacity of 85 MW.

It will include about 12 000 m of tunnel work, construction of the power station and transformer hall in the mountain, as well as concrete work around the intake, the power plant area, the outflow and the portal.

The power plant will use the existing intake dam at the Eidefossen power plant.

Water will travel through tunnels from the intake to the new power plant.

Production from the plant will be about 315 GWh/y, equivalent to the electricity consumption of about 15 000 households.
