TORONTO (miningweekly.com) – Nearctic Nickel Mines has sued the Quebec Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources for allegedly taking three territories from the Expo Ungava property, in 2008, to create three mining leases issued to Canadian Royalties

Nearctic subsidiary, Ungava Mineral Exploration (UMEI), had recently taken the matter to court, also alleging the provincial government’s repeated failures to correct the three leases to recognise and document UMEI's undivided 30% interest therein, as well as damages for “numerous other faults”.
