Mokonyane appoints new TCTA chairperson

Water and Sanitation Minister Nomvula Mokonyane has appointed Zodwa Manase chairperson of the Trans-Caledon Tunnel Authority (TCTA).

She succeeds Monhla Hlahla, who stepped down at the end of October.

Manase’s term as chairperson will end simultaneously with that of the TCTA board on November 30, 2018.

She has 30 years’ experience in auditing, accounting and finance, with vast knowledge and experience in corporate governance and risk management.

Manase has been a member of a number of boards in the public and private sector since 1998, including that of the South African Reserve Bank, the State Information Technology Agency, Total South Africa and at the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital Trust.
