JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Mine Restoration Investments (MRI) has appointed FD Anthon Meyer as nonexecutive director and named former Jubilee Platinum group financial manager Carl-Heinz Gernandt as his successor.
Gernandt, whose appointment would be effective from December 1, previously held directorship, financial managerial and internal auditing positions at various listed and auditing-related companies.
He obtained a BCom Internal Auditing degree in 2002 from the University of Pretoria, and is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants.
MRI added in a statement on Thursday that Justin Lewis had resigned as nonexecutive director, with effect from October 29.
