Project Description
The project entails the construction of a 340 MW combined-cycle gas turbine power plant, with multiple fuel – light crude oil (LCO), distillate and natural gas – operating capability. However, natural gas is envisaged to become the primary fuel.

The project includes:
• the construction of a 16 kV substation for power transmission,
• a 2 km natural gas pipeline that will connect the power plant with the Western African Gas Pipeline,
• LCO fuel supply, delivery and treatment facilities, including two on-site storage tanks with a total capacity of about 18 000 m3, as well as off-site LCO storage tanks with a capacity of about 70 000 m3.
