Project Description
The 49 MW Kiyú wind farm will comprise 16 Vestas V112-3 075 kW wind turbines, capable of generating an estimated 200 GWh/y of electricity a year – enough to power more than 50 000 households. A 150 kV transmission line will also be built as part of the scheme.

$117.5-million.

Duration
The Kiyú wind farm is due to become operational by the end of 2015.

Construction has begun on the Kiyú wind farm. Mott MacDonald is monitoring plant construction. The firm will undertake quarterly site inspection visits and provide technical, environmental and social monitoring services.
