Project Description
The project, located between Sutherland and Matjiesfontein, has a contracted capacity of 139.8 MW.

It was identified as a preferred project in the fourth round of the Department of Energy’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme in April 2015. The wind farm will comprise 43 wind turbines, each with a 3.3 MW capacity and a hub height of 91.5 m. The project also includes associated wind farm infrastructure. The facility will connect to Eskom’s Komsberg substation.
