Project Description
The Jizzakh refinery is part of the Uzbekistan government’s multiyear development plan to achieve energy independence and increase the country’s export potential.

The project entails the construction of refinery capable of processing five-million tons a year of crude oil to produce clean-burning gasoline, diesel and jet fuel. When completed, the refinery will produce 3.7-million tons a year of Euro V-quality motor fuels, 700 000 t/y of aviation fuel and 500 000 t/y of other products, including liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and bitumen.
