Project Description
The project entails the construction of a solar farm with an estimated 96 GWh/y capacity, equivalent to the electricity consumption of 650 000 people.
The plant will prevent the emission of 354 000 t/y of carbon dioxide, according to World Bank data.
Jobs to Be Created
The plant is expected to create 300 jobs during construction and 25 permanent jobs during operations.
The project will provide electricity for infra-structures, such as hospitals, schools and busi-nesses with grid power, directly and indirectly creating hundreds of jobs in the region.
