Jasco Enterprise has restructured its coastal offices into a single coastal division serving the Western Cape, Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal, the company announced on Tuesday.

The newly consolidated division, led by executive head of coastal regions Karel Botha, aimed to strengthen the company’s focus in the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal, while maintaining its solid presence in the Western Cape, through centralised management and the combined resources, skills and experience.

The coastal division was expected to bring together a team of some 140 people across the region into a “cohesive structure”.

“The intention is to establish greater capacity and expand our skill base in the coastal regions, enabling us to get closer to our customers and markets, and giving them access to our complete solution and services portfolio, rather than relying on our head office to grow the business,” Botha explained.

The coastal regions would eventually sell and support the full Jasco Enterprise portfolio, including communications and security solutions, information technology infrastructure services and a full range of managed and professional services.

“We are currently in the process of finalising the structures for the region, which will comprise three functional areas, [namely] sales, operations and support,” Botha concluded.
