10th February 2016

Company Announcement - The Interactive Intelligence Foundation, a nonprofit corporation whose mission is to use resources and funding to foster life improvements for at-risk youth, has named its 12 grant recipients for 2016 fund allocation.

The Foundation, the charitable arm of customer engagement cloud services company Interactive Intelligence Group Inc. (Nasdaq: ININ), selected its grant recipients based on their alignment with its mission and the impact their project will have on at-risk youth.

Company Announcement - “We received 149 deserving grant applications, and only wish we could have said yes to them all,” said Joe Adams, Foundation president and Interactive Intelligence senior product manager. “To our recipients, we are grateful to help such worthy and diverse organizations, and hope these grants will create added opportunities for disadvantaged youth locally and around the world.”

The following organizations are the 2016 Interactive Intelligence Foundation grant recipients:

Grants provided to these recipient organizations will be used for a variety of purposes, including summer STEM education programs, summer camp funding for economically-challenged and visually impaired youth, a mobile STEM classroom, weekend food supplies for in-need youth, and other hands-on learning programs.

The Interactive Intelligence Foundation distributes the funds it raises to a small number of not-for-profit organizations whose missions are aligned with the mission of the Foundation. It raises funds through corporate donations, an annual fundraising event, and through employee and “friends of the foundation” contributions. The Foundation has raised more than $1.5 million since inception, which has helped more than a dozen charities in Indiana and throughout the world.
