Ingeborg McNicoll transfers to Africa

Company Announcement - Ingeborg McNicoll, a Partner with Environmental Resources Management leading marine environmental services and specialising in the oil and gas sector has transferred to ERM Sub-Saharan Africa and will be based in Cape Town. As ERM’s global marine leader she brings 30 years of experience to Africa in strategic environmental assessment, environmental impact assessments, providing support in marine environments and in sustainable energy projects. Ingeborg has worked in many oil and gas provinces including Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific and North America. Interesting projects have included the First Strategic Environmental Assessments for oil and gas activities in Ireland’s Atlantic Waters, risk assessments for new country entry for offshore oil and gas exploration and marine biodiversity action planning. 

McNicoll was a Senior Partner at ERM Malaysia for the past eight years and transferred from Kuala Lumpur to ERM Cape Town in anticipation of significant development in the oil and gas sector on the continent. She was educated in Scotland at Heriot-Watt University, where she graduated with a BSc in Marine Biology. Ingeborg is a Nuffield Scholar and is a long-term member of the Energy Institute and the Society for Petroleum Engineers.
