Inclined vibrating screens offer lower costs and improved efficiency

An inclined vibrating screen from Carman Process Engineering

Bulldog inclined vibrating screens from Carman Process Engineering (CPE) are said to offer the lowest cost per ton for the separation of a variety of materials.

The screens’ exceptional efficiency is attributed to the tri-directional action of the vibration stroke. Material is fed onto the screen surface where most particle stratification takes place, and the elliptical stroke helps to accelerate the material flow. As the material moves forward to the centre of the screen surface, the stroke converts to a circular action, increasing the material’s retention time and further increasing the stratification of the material.

Once the material reaches the discharge end of the screen, the stroke converts back to an elliptical motion thereby increasing the material’s retention time and allowing it to obtain the most efficient particle separation on the vibrating screen.

Bulldog inclined vibrating screens feature a range of benefits, including:

CPE boasts a large selection of vibrating screens for any level of duty and application.
