Incledon KZN relocates to new premises in Prospecton

Incledon KwaZulu-Natal has relocated to new premises in Prospecton, Durban, which has the added benefit of quicker service delivery and improved stock-control processes.

The new location at 1A Transport Drive is just off the N2 South freeway, which facilitates both access and delivery, Incledon KZN Branch Manager Nesh Chetty explains. “All functions within our business are now managed wholly by us, and not outsourced. Customers now get to walk into a relaxed and secure environment, with full visibility of our stock and products on offer.”

As an integral coastal branch, Incledon KZN forms part of the group’s national footprint. Its staff has a combined 35 years’ expertise in civils, end-user engineering, and the wholesale market. As a profit centre, Incledon KZN has been a valuable contributor to group results.

Chetty cites the main growth opportunities in the region as the wholesale and end-user engineering trade, namely fire prevention, air-conditioning, and steel fabrication. The main product range distributed by Incledon is PVC pipe manufactured by group company DPI Plastics and SWAN Plastics, in addition to well-known ancillary brands such as Rigid, Elster Kent, Cascade, Klamflex, Pentax, and Robor.

“We have a positive, bright, and hopeful outlook in the region. Our main revenue stream is linked to municipalities and the awarding of government contracts, and we anticipate that early 2018 will see more projects being awarded,” Chetty comments.

The staff experience and high retention level has allowed Incledon KZN to deliver an outstanding customer experience. “We do not just sell products, but solutions, due to our vast knowledge of water reticulation.”

Chetty elaborates that the relocation was a strategic decision to increase Incledon KZN’s brand presence, walk-in trade, and cash sales. “At the old premises, we were located at the back of a site that had a number of other businesses on the same premises. From a stock-control perspective, the move initiated a business restructure in that we took over the full management of our stock, from receiving to dispatching.

“This has improved our service delivery tenfold, and will allow us to grow from strength to strength,” Chetty concludes. In this regard, Incledon KZN plans to relaunch the business in the region, with future announcements to be made public on LinkedIn and the group news bulletins.

The Incledon KZN contact number remains unchanged at (031) 716-2200.
