The project is located about 50 km north-east of Belgrade, Serbia.

Project Description
Čibuk 1 will contribute towards Serbia’s commitment to produce 27% of its domestic power using renewable-energy sources by 2020. With a capacity of 158 MW and comprising 57 wind turbines, it will be the largest wind project in Serbia.

It will be able to produce electricity for an estimated 113 000 households a year, while reducing carbon dioxide emissions by more than 370 000 t.

Potential Job Creation
The project is expected to create as many as 400 local jobs during construction.

Value
€300-million.

Duration
The wind farm is expected to enter commercial operation in early 2019.
