Project Description
The project will extend the I-395 Express Lanes by almost 13 km from Edsall road, in Fairfax County, Virginia, to Eads street, in Arlington County, Washington DC.

The two existing high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes will be converted to express lanes and a third lane will be added, providing three reversible express lanes.

The improvements will be built primarily within the existing footprint of the I-395 HOV lanes.
