French manufacturer of measuring instruments for the past 30 years, Kimo, has designed the versatile VT200 air velocity and airflow control device that is available in six different configurations. The anemometer is a product offering of Randburg-based instrumentation company, ASSTech.
Easy to read with a large graphic display and blue backlight, the VT200 is accurate and user friendly with a joystick for fast navigation. It can measure and record 8 000 values which can be transferred to PC via a wireless connection.
The multi-probe data logging system unit can be supplied with:
- A14 mm diameter vane probe for direct measurement in pipes from 0.8 to 40 m/s and from 0 to 99,999 m³/h.
- 70 mm and 100 mm diameter vane probes (wired or wireless) for detection of air direction and built-in temperature probe for vent control from 0.2 to 35 m/s and from 0 to 99,999 m³/h.
- Standard and gooseneck shaped telescopic hotwire for very low airflow control, pipe and vent cartography. The probes allow accurate measurements while carrying out scanning averages.
- Vane and hotwire probes can be used with cones and are available in different dimensions in order to measure airflow on a vent or mechanical air control speed. The dimensions are pre-programmed on the VT software, allowing quick access and direct reading of airflow during measurement dataset.
- Pt100 temperature probes for measurement from -50 to 250°.
