Project Description
The project involves the construction of a ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) facility, with a 22 MW capacity near Douglas, in the Northern Cape.

The ground-mounted solar system will feature Tenesol TE 240 PV solar panels on single-axis trackers.

The project was one of 28 renewable energy projects identified as preferred bidders in the first round of South Africa’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme in December 2011.
