Haughton solar farm is a large-scale solar (PV) power station, which will result in the installation of about one-million solar PV panels.

The solar farm is expected to have a generating capacity of up to 500 MW, enough to power an estimated 170 000 homes.

Potential Job Creation
About 240 workers will be required on site during construction, with up to ten permanent jobs to be created to ensure the effective operation of the solar farm.

Local suppliers and contractors will also be engaged for the construction and delivery of the project wherever possible.
