JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – An employee was fatally injured in a rail bound accident at Harmony Gold’s Kusasalethu mine, near Carletonville, on Monday.
Harmony on Tuesday said investigations into the accident were under way, with all tramming operations on the level where the accident occurred having been stopped.
Harmony’s management expressed their deepest condolences to the members of the deceased's family.
