Guinea's alumina production fell nearly 70% in 2012 compared with the previous year owing to a prolonged shutdown of the 630 000 t Fria refinery operated by RUSAL, the finance ministry said on Thursday.
Work at the Fria refinery was suspended since April 2012 following a labour dispute.
