The factory will be built in the Skjerven Industrial Park in Hunndalen, Gjøvik, Norway, on a greenfield site 5 km from the existing plant.

Project Description
The project entails the construction of a new wood fibre production plant. 

The plant will use up to 70 000 m3/y of spruce chips.

The new production facilities will be powered by clean and environmentally friendly hydropower from Norway.

Jobs to Be Created
The project is expected to create 40 to 60 jobs.

Value
The project will cost between NKr100-million and NKr120-million.

Duration
The project is expected to start production no later than 2018.

Latest Developments
Andritz has received an order from Hunton Fiber to supply chip handling, pressurised refining equipment, and the chemical dosing system for Hunton’s insulation production line at the mill in Gjørvik.
