The annual CESA Consultants Relay was a wonderful opportunity for GIBB staff, family members and friends to engage in some physical exercise, meet and mingle with other member firms and enjoy a fun family day.
“The day was filled with fun and adrenaline as teams competed against each other in a host of activities that included cycling, running, walking, tug-of-war and volleyball. We would like to applaud our staff that attended for their camaraderie, team spirit and enthusiasm displayed on the field,” said Yolande van Rooyen, GIBB Marketing Practitioner: Events Management, CRM and CSI.
The excitement and enthusiasm generated by this popular event has seen a steady increase in attendance with last year’s event attracting more than 400 teams.
Bonolo Nkgodi, Manager: Marketing and Events at Consulting Engineers South Africa said, “GIBB was well represented this year with 13 teams participating. CESA has for the past 29 years, staged the annual CESA Consultants Relay which is a fun sports day for member firms. We would like to thank GIBB for their continuous support which has contributed to making this event a success.” The event took place at Eagle Waters in Hartbeespoort Dam on 23 August 2014 and was organised and hosted by Consulting Engineers South Africa.
