GIBB appoints new chairperson

South African multidisciplinary engineering firm GIBB has appointed Nana Magomola chairperson.

She succeeds the late Dr Don Mkhwanazi.

Magomola was formerly director- general in the Office of the Premier of the North West provincial government.

She has also been chairperson of Limpopo Tourism, MX Health, the Transnet National Ports Authority tender board, as well as the Petronet tender board.

GIBB group CEO Richard Vries says of Magomola’s appointment: “I am honoured to have the opportunity to work with [her] and look forward to working with the GIBB Holdings board to strengthen [the company’s] position as the largest black-owned engineering and architecture firm on the African continent.”
