Project Description
The expansion of the airport will include the widening of the existing 3 750-m-long runway from 46 m to 60 m to accommodate aeroplanes as large as an A380.

A new control tower and parallel taxiway where aircraft will be able to queue will also be built.

A second runway will reposition the runway away from the mountains, which will enable aeroplanes to more easily approach land and take off from both directions.
