Established in Nigel in 1976, EWN&S Enterprises has been a supplier of industrial gases, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), welding equipment and consumables and safety wear to various industries in Gauteng ever since.
Being accredited distributor of Air Products industrial gases, Oryx LPG, ESAB welding equipment and consumables, Pferd abrasives products, Elvex safety products, as well as importer of EWN&S’ own branded welding wire and quality leather gloves, enabled EWN&S to expand its business.
With the acquisition of BEW Engineering Supplies in Springs in 1998 and the name change to EWN&S Springs, this earned the company the status of being a major supplier of gas and welding supplies to the Springs and Nigel markets.
In February 2012, EWN&S expanded its footprint by acquiring gas and welding supplies company Seibod Gas in Sasolburg to service customers in the Vaal region, with a further division added in July last year following the establishment of AKG Gas & Welding Supplies in Primrose, Germiston.
The company constantly reviews and negotiates pricing agreements with all its suppliers to ensure it retains its competitive product pricing. This, together with its strong relationship with Air Products, make the company an ideal one-stop shop for all welding requirements. EWN&S also stocks an extensive range of safety equipment and industrial supplies to complement its product range.
