Steel and vanadium producer Evraz Highveld Steel and Vanadium on Wednesday appointed executive director and FD Jan Valenta CEO, with immediate effect, after Michael Garcia stepped down.
Olga Luzik would replace Valenta, who was appointed FD and director in 2011.
Valenta, a chartered accountant with a master's degree in economics from Charles University, in Prague, was formerly CFO at Evraz Vitkovice Steel, while Luzik, who had been employed at the company since 2003, had held several financial and management positions in the Evraz group.
