PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Just days after acquiring private miner La Mancha’s Australian assets, gold miner Evolution Mining has inked another transaction to acquire the Puhipuhi project, in New Zealand.

ASX-listed De Grey Mining reported this week that it would receive some A$370 000 in exchange for the Puhipuhi project.

The sale would be conditional upon Evolution completing a due diligence on the project, as well as De Grey obtaining consent for the sale of the project.

The junior explorer said that proceeds from the Puhipuhi sale would be used to complete geological mapping of its Turner River base metals project, and to undertake downhole electromagnetic probing at the Tabba Tabba prospect.
