JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Triple-listed Endeavour Mining has announced record gold production of 124 894 oz for the quarter ended September 30, with output for the nine months to September at 379 802 oz.

Over the nine months, the Agbaou mine, in Côte d'Ivoire, the Nzema mine, in Ghana, and the Youga mine, in Burkina Faso, were all ahead of the midpoint of their production guidance ranges, with Nzema maintaining its production levels, despite a temporary drop in the grade of the bought ore.

The Tabakoto mine, in Mali, experienced several extreme rain falls in the latter part of the quarter which affected overall operation and, in particular, production from the North and South sections of the Tabakoto underground mine, reducing the grade of the material delivered to the mill and lowering production below targeted levels.

“Group production from the mines continues to be at the high end of production guidance. All-in sustaining cost an ounce will be reported in the third-quarter financial results to be released in November, and is expected to continue to be below our full-year guidance range of between $930 and $980,” stated CEO Neil Woodyer.
