Anglo American Platinum (Amplats) has signed a strategic memorandum of agreement with Roads Agency Limpopo (RAL), a State-owned company established by the Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure to help fund the development of road infrastructure in the province.

As part of the partnership, Amplats will collaborate with RAL on the agency’s road construction projects.

Project Description
RAL is responsible for 20 260 km of road network, of which about 14 300 km is gravel road.

The project entails the upgrade from gravel to tar of 20 km of the D4180 road, stretching from Atok, passing through Ga-Selepe, Ga-Mashabela to Twickenham.
