A bus service between Eastgate shopping centre and Sandton City shopping centre is now available for commuters.
Four morning and two afternoon departure times are available from Eastgate and two morning and four afternoon return times from Sandton City.
A return ticket costs R75 including free parking and bulk ride packages are available at discounted rates.
The service uses luxury, air-conditioned coaches, which feature reclining seats and also offer complimentary WiFi.
Passengers are able to book and pay for rides online through the company’s website.
In addition, a 24/7 live customer support service is available through an online live chat functionality and customers are able to track the bus in real time.
Shared transport company Zeelo estimates that for every trip on its bus service from Eastgate to Sandton City, an average of 30 vehicles are taken off the road, contributing to a potential reduction in traffic congestion and carbon emissions.
The UK-based company was founded in 2017 and South Africa is its first overseas market launch.
