Chicago Pneumatic generates wave at KwaZulu-Natal MTEs

Chicago Pneumatic, a leader in high-performance compact tools and equipment, travelled to the coast to display its generator prowess at the KwaZulu-Natal Mining & Technical Exhibition (MTE) held in Pongola on 16 October 2018 and Richards Bay on 18 October 2018.

The company gave away its innovative CPPG5 portable generator to a lucky winner at each of these MTEs.

“Our company is consistently looking for new ways to improve our levels of service excellence in order to deliver solutions to our customers that are in line with Chicago Pneumatic standards,” states Eben van der Vyver, Business Development  Manager at Chicago Pneumatic Construction Equipment in South Africa.

“The 2018 MTEs have been an invaluable learning experience for us as a company, as we have the opportunity to interact with customers face-to-face and to gain an in-depth understanding of their needs as well as their views of Chicago Pneumatic generators.”

The robust CPPG5 petrol-driven portable generator delivers continuous electric output and stable operation to assist customers in minimising operation stand still and maximising productivity. As the generator provides power as and when it is needed, this smart machine offers increased power saving and reduced fuel consumption costs. “Customers can rely on the CPPG5 to provide optimal performance which is also cost effective,” affirms Van der Vyver.

On 16 October 2018, the Chicago Pneumatic stand at the Pongola MTE welcomed visitors to view and discuss their generator capabilities. When it was time to announce and give away the CPPG5 generator to the lucky MTE attendee, Eben van der Vyver proudly handed over the prize to excited winner Etienne de Beer of RCL Foods. The day concluded with both attendees and exhibitors having gained more insight into the market.

The Richards Bay MTE commenced on 18 October 2018, with visitors excited to partake in the exhibition. “Our exhibit received a good amount of visitors and enquiries. I was joined by our dealer, Thuli Mthembu of Turner Morris Richards Bay, to award our highly efficient generator to thrilled winner Hendrik JJ Lourens from Philco Systems,” comments Van der Vyver.

Through these MTEs, Chicago Pneumatic has been able to further extend its footprint in the mining sector across Southern Africa. This has led to increased business development opportunities with existing and potential customers. The company has invested time and energy into these MTEs in order to develop a better understanding of customers and their needs, and how they differs.

“With only five MTEs left for 2018, Chicago Pneumatic is eager to continue learning as much as we can from the valuable exhibition attendees and to showcase our high-quality product portfolio. Our company endeavours to continue raising the bar when it comes to quality, efficiency and service of generators,” concludes Van der Vyver.
