Project Description
The 275 MW Bungala project is currently the largest ready-to-build solar PV project in Australia.

The project comprises Bungala Solar One (137.5 MW), and Bungala Solar Two (137.5 MW).

Bungala is designed to generate about 570 GWh/y, equivalent to the consumption needs of about 82 000 Australian households. 

It will also prevent the emission of about 520 000 t of carbon dioxide.

Latest Developments
Enel Green Power, in joint venture (JV) with the Dutch Infrastructure Fund (DIF), has finalised an agreement to acquire Bungala Solar One from Bungala Solar Holding.

The acquisition of Bungala Solar Two is expected to be finalised in the third quarter of 2017.

The JV’s investment in the project amounts to an estimated $350-million, including project construction.
